CHRISTMAS AT DAMSON DENE HOTEL

On behalf of Wayne, Marta and all the staff, we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the Damson Dene Hotel for the festive period. We do hope that you will enjoy your stay with us but if there is anything that we can do to make your stay more comfortable, please do not hesitate to contact us.

CHRISTMAS EVE:

Once you have settled yourself into the hotel, Wayne and Marta would like to invite you to join them for mulled wine and mince pies, which will be served in the lounge between 3pm and 6pm. This is a great opportunity for you to meet the hotel management and also the other guests who will be staying with us over the festive period.

Our three course candle lit dinner will be served in the Heron View restaurant between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. We would be grateful if you could let Reception know your preferred dining time before 6pm.

In your bedroom you will find a copy of the Christmas Day lunch menu and wine list. We would be grateful if you could make your choice and inform Reception before 10pm this evening. You will also be required to choose your preferred dining time – lunch will be served between 12.30pm and 2.30pm.

After dinner, relax in the hotel bar or lounge. At 8.30pm, all children can join Marta in the lounge to help her decorate the Children’s Christmas tree and of course, to leave some mince pies and sherry in the hearth for Father Christmas and a carrot for Rudolph.

If you would like to attend a midnight mass, our Reception team will be more than happy to advise you of local services.

CHRISTMAS DAY:

Merry Christmas. Our full English breakfast buffet will be served in the Heron View restaurant between 8.00am and 9.30am.

The morning is free for you to enjoy at your leisure, the swimming pool will be open, there are board games available in the lounge or if you require any advise on local walks or church services please contact Reception who will be happy to assist.

Christmas Day lunch will be served in the Heron View Restaurant. The Queens speech will be shown at 3pm in the lounge and coffee, mince pies, Yule log and Christmas cake will be available for those who still have room!

Our Gala Buffet will be served in the Heron View restaurant between 7.00pm and 8.30pm.

BOXING DAY:

Our full English breakfast buffet will be served in the Heron View Restaurant between 8am and 10am. We would ask that you let Reception know your preferred dining time for this evening’s dinner prior to going out for the day.

After you have spent the day exploring the local area, our three course candle lit dinner will be served in the Heron View restaurant between 6.30pm and 8.30pm.

At 9.30pm we will be giving out the answers to the quiz in the bar. There are some great prizes to be won.

27th DECEMBER

Our full English breakfast buffet will be served between 7.30am and 9.30am. We will then wish you a fond farewell. We would be grateful if you could vacate your bedrooms before 11am but please feel free to use the hotel facilities after that time.

30th DECEMBER 2009:

Once you have settled yourself into the hotel, Wayne and Marta would like to invite you to join them for Bucks Fizz and a selection of cakes, which will be served in the lounge between 3pm and 6pm. This is a great opportunity for you to meet the hotel management and also the other guests who will be staying with us over the New Year.

Our three course candle lit dinner will be served in the Heron View restaurant between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. We would be grateful if you could let Reception know your preferred dining time before 6pm.

In your bedroom you will find a copy of the New Years Eve Dinner menu and wine list. We would be grateful if you could make your choice and inform Reception before 11am tomorrow. We would also be grateful if you could pre-order your champagne for midnight so that we can ensure that it is perfectly chilled for you.
