"First of all these comments are in comparison with 2 years ago (last year I cancelled and spent Xmas fighting for my life in hospital). It was delightful to see everywhere so clean and the xmas decorations so very attractive. Food, service and the welcome by all staff and Manager was a delight. The Xmas dominoes quiz, bellringingbetc were a delight. Being a solo visitor it is so nice to be greeted by old visitors and made welcome by new ones and Glen my greyhound thinks Damson Dene is doggy heaven. Please thank all the staff for their pleasant smiles."

"We would like to say that since we came a year ago this room has been refurbished and looks great as do many parts of the hotel. The staff are exceptional - especially Kate who we always find goes beyond our expectations. The food is fantastic again we really love coming here."

"Our stay here has been delightful. From the moment we entered the warm, comfortable reception areawe knew we would enjoyour stay. The welcome we got from reception staff, in fact ALL the staff simply reinforced this feeling. We came looking for a relaxing birthday break and this is exactly what we've enjoyed. The hotel has a lovely situation and all the rooms are comfortable and pleasantly furninhed. My wife really appreciated the surprise gift placed in our room on her birthday - it was very kind and thoughtful of the staff. The service has been excellent and, despite some inclement weather, we have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Many thanks to all staff for making it so."

us at the Damson Dene on Friday 11th Dec.  We all had a good time, the food was great and the service was brillient.  You should be very proud of all your staff as they all worked very hard, were very courteous and very kind.
